This is an actual update. I am sitting down determinedly to write it. A couple of years ago I was able to write more than 140 characters at a time without feeling completely drained, and now Twitter is both my hero and internet saviour.

It's so cold here right now. Every morning I go outside and feel like I'm slowly starting to turn into an icicle. When I went outside this morning to take that photo up there it took 10 mins until I could feel my fingers again.

Here are some dot points pertaining to my life:

• Saw ATL last weekend! Alex's face makes me happy. They were awesome. Saw laenij there, too! ♥ I'd heard a couple of Set Your Goals songs before I saw them, but hadn't ever looked at a photo of them, so I spent most of their set thinking about how Matt Wilson looks like an awkward 14 year old...
• Finally got the camera lens I ordered ten gazillion years ago (read: April 1st). Slightly anti-climactic because I don't really have anything exciting to photograph.
• Holiday plans are stressful. Was supposed to go to Japan with darlita in October, but now she can't go. In the midst of worrying about this, my boss made me pick the dates for my holidays next year IN TWO MINUTES. It was incredibly retarded. I am the most indecisive person ever so I just ended up blurting out that I wanted June. I don't want an entire month! I want things to be spread out! Life. I guess I'll try and see if I can move my October holidays back a little, but idk how that will go. :( At least if I can move them back I can go to askheychris's Australian tour in late Oct.
•God also. Just have to slide this point in here: EVERY TIME A NEW BIG BANG FIC IS POSTED I FEEL STRESSED BECAUSE I CANNOT KEEP UP WITH THEM ALL, EVEN AS FAST AS I READ. I've sort of thrown up my hands in despair and decided to read them when I have more time. :(
•Sorry LJ. I feel like I have nothing interesting to update about anymore. Like, I could talk about how gleefully happy Bronx photos make me, or the mundane details of my life, but I figure that stuff is just obvious. :[
• I got this in the mail today. It is a giant plastic necklace in the shape of a camera. When you look through it and press the shutter images of dinosaurs appear. It's very pleasing, but I have no idea who sent it... yamapea I am looking at you...
• I've been playing The Sims 3 obsessively. I made this dumb family that ended up crashing without saving (IT WAS AN AWESOME FAMILY THOUGH, TWO GAY GUYS WHO I REALISED LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE HARRY AND DRACO, LOL, THE INSANE SHIPPER INSIDE NEVER DIES), because the game is retarded with the amount of power it sucks, and after angrily thinking about how I was never going to play again, I found... this... I stared at it for the longest time, "hey... that kind of... looks like Tobias from Arrested Development..." then when I started playing this came up a;lkjdsf. Direct rip off. I love it. Gobias is loaded. He has a really nice house and a pretty good job. He's really old though, like, ready to retire. I thought I was doing the right thing when I had him make friends with this young man who had a mohawk, but suddenly this option came up... "help with homework"... and I realised that Gobias had befriended a teenager. They woohooed shortly after. I have made Gobias into a pedophile.
